Sangkhlaburi Adventure

When travellers dream of Thailand, they may picture jungles, sparkling temples and the exotic charm of rural villages -- Sangkhlaburi is home to all this.

Day 1: Bangkok - Kanchanaburi - Baan Huay Ulong (L,D)

This morning we visit a market that sits upon the railroad tracks and another floating on a small canal then drive to Kanchanaburi. Tour the sights of Kanchanaburi and take a train ride along the infamous Death Railway line before proceeding to Baan Huay Ulong for overnight.
Day 2: Baan Huay Ulong - Sangkhlaburi (B, L, D)

We travel overland to Sangkhlaburi, a small town near the Burmese border, stopping en route at the beautiful Kroeng Kravia Waterfall. Afternoon arrival at Songkalia Lake in Sanepong village, we’ll set up our campground by the lake.
Day 3: Sanepong - Songkaria - Mae Tiew (B, L, D)

This morning we leave Sanepong village and trek to the river island of Mae Tiew. That’s a memorable trek crossing shallow rivers, through dense foliage, passing amazing sights.
Day 4: Mae Tiew - Rafting - Sangkhlaburi (B, L, D)

We hop on a local bamboo raft and float down the river to the village of Songkaria. The village serves a the live museum of traditions and customs of the Mon and Karen people. We’ll travel via the Burmese border post of Three Temples Pass before returning to Sangkhlaburi.
Day 5: Sangkhlaburi - Kanchanaburi (B, L, D)

There’ll be time to relax till we depart Sangkhlabur for historic Kanchanaburi and the safari-style tented camp on Hintok Mountain.
Day 6: Kanchanaburi - Bangkok (B, L)

Free in the morning to relax by the riverside or take an excursion to Hellfire pass before returning to Bangkok. Tour ends in a the city.
